Adult Arabic Language Learning - POSTPONED

RMCC is pleased to announce a great opportunity for an Intensive Arabic course for adult non Arabic speakers (absolute beginners) at our center taught by the esteemed Professor Bassam Alkhateeb.

Mr. Alkhateeb has a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and is an Arabic as a Second Language specialist. He taught this course for many years as the director of Discover Islam Program in Bahrain.

The course introduces written modern standard Arabic, the language of education, business and media throughout the Arabic speaking world. Students learn to read and write the complete Arabic Alphabet. Proper pronunciation, and the development of conversational proficiency are strongly emphasized as a foundation for further learning.
This includes dialogue for survival level in Arabic using Hayaa Binaa textbook 1, units 1-6.
  • The course IS NOW POSTPONED
  • Time from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
  • The minimum age to attend the course is 16 years
  • Cost: $350
  • Students who complete the course (no more than 2 absences) will receive a certificate of completion

There will be a maximum of 15 students.

Islamic School Program

We take pride in our Islamic School Program at RMCC, where we are dedicated to nurturing the spiritual growth and education of our children. Our Islamic School Program offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes Quranic reading, Quran meaning and Islamic teachings. What makes our program truly special is that it is entirely managed and taught by devoted parents and volunteers from our community. This collaborative effort ensures that our children receive not only a well-rounded Islamic education but also the love and care of their own community members, creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment.

Registration $250/semester

Quran Memorization Class

At RMCC, we understand the importance of Quran memorization, and we are committed to supporting individuals of all ages in this noble endeavor. Our weekly Quran memorization class is open to anyone dedicated and committed to meeting on a regular basis for this sacred purpose. What makes this program truly remarkable is that it is entirely run by our dedicated volunteers. Their passion for the Quran and their desire to share its blessings with our community shine through in their tireless efforts. Join us in this journey of Quran memorization!

Registration: $150/semester

We offer a unique opportunity to learn Arabic in an immersive environment. Our program features native-speaking instructors who use the award-winning Sanabel curriculum, known for its excellence in Arabic language education. Join us in this enriching experience, and embark on a transformative path of linguistic proficiency.

Teen Talk

Our interactive program is specially designed to empower our teens with essential Islamic knowledge while fostering new friendships and equipping them with practical tools to navigate the increasingly complex world around them. Our program offers a diverse range of engaging activities, including didactic talks, stimulating debates, hands-on workshops, creative crafts, exciting DIY projects, sports activities, and fun game nights, among others. What sets our program apart is that the topics and activities are chosen by teenagers, for teenagers. This ensures that the content is relevant and resonates with the unique needs and interests of our young community members, making learning a truly enjoyable and enriching experience.

Registration: $150/semester

Ages: Middle School and High School

Rochester Sisters (YM)

Ranging in age from 13 – 25 years; sisters meet to socialize and learn more about Islam. The goal is to encourage girls to learn more about their religion and talk freely about topics that matter to them.
